Our 2024 confirmands

WELCOME TO OUR HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM!

High School Faith Formation focus on the spiritual development of each individual student in the community of the Church. We offer a combination of small and large group nights for our 9-10th graders, and a servant leadership Retreat Team for all of our Confirmed youth and their friends. The Sacrament of Confirmation is received during the 10th grade year, with preparation spanning from 9th to 10th grade.

CONFIRMATION

Confirmation is not a graduation, but an opportunity to take ownership of our Catholic faith and dive deeper into it. Parish youth wishing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation during their 10th grade year should have at least two years of prior catechetical instruction. This prior instruction can be completed at Columbus Catholic High School as a part of their religious curriculum, and/or through Wednesday and Sunday night religious education sessions at St. Pat's.

Columbus and Religious Education 9th graders register specifically for Confirmation on Realm. Sacramental preparation consists of seven sessions, a retreat, Rite of Enrollment, service hours, two interviews, and additional sponsor and parent activities.
