Altar Servers assist the priest and deacon by carrying the processional cross, candles, books, incense and anything else that may be needed during the liturgy. They also help to set a good example for the assembly by their active participation in the prayers of the Mass. They must be in the 4^th grade or older to participate in the ministry. Altar server training is conducted in the Fall.
