Totus Tuus - June 2025
Our 1st-6th grade parishioners had a great week at Totus Tuus! We had so much fun each day singing, watching silly skits put on by our missionaries, and going to our breakout sessions to learn more about the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary and about the seven Sacraments. Everyone also had the opportunity to attend daily Mass and receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation. At the end of the week, we celebrated our last day together with an afternoon of water games, and by covering one of our missionaries in shaving cream! We cannot thank enough our missionaries, Sean, Hannah, Erik, and Mallory for all their hard work last week, and for their dedication to serving our Archdiocese with this amazing program. Thanks also to all of our parishioners who graciously hosted this week by providing housing for our missionaries, donating food and money for our lunches and dinners, and serving as assistants for our missionaries. We pray that all the participants will continue to become "Totus Tuus" — Totally Yours!
National Eucharistic Pilgrimage through eastern Iowa - May 24, 2025
St. Patrick parishioners carpooled to the Dyersville, New Vienna and Petersburg area as the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage came through the Archdiocese. Perpetual pilgrims traveled with the Blessed Sacrament from Indianapolis to Los Angeles. They placed a tabernacle in their van as they traveled, and mixed in some on-foot processions through each diocese they passed through.
