"Let all Your works give You thanks, O Lord, and let Your faithful ones bless You," says the Psalmist. Stewardship is this "attitude of gratitude" for the many gifts God has given us.

JOINING THE CATHOLIC CHURCH

A new Inquiry Series begins Monday evening, July 28, 2008, at 7 pm in the parish library. Call the parish office at 266-3523 for more information and to set up a visit with Deacon Sink who coordinates the process. This process is user friendly for both un-baptized as well as baptized and adult Catholics wishing to be confirmed.

SAVE THIS DATE!

A memorable gift and the opportunity to speak to our children and close relatives one last time is presented to us when we take the time to do the major planning for our own funeral service. No matter your age, it is something we can help you with. Mark Saturday, October 11, 2008, from 9:00–11:30 am for a funeral planning workshop to be held in the parish commons. The $5.00 fee covers the planning materials and coffee/juice/ donuts. Registration begins Monday, September 15, 2008.

VOLUNTEER TO USHER

Ushers are needed at all Masses, especially the 10:00 am Sunday Mass. No experience required. Schedules conveniently located on church website, or can be mailed to you if you do not have internet access. Please contact Nathan Morrow, 239-3875 or morrow@cfu.net, if you have questions or wish to volunteer.

All of Creation

Buy Fresh / Buy LocalFair trade products, such as coffee and tea, are grown, harvested and sold by cooperatives of families who earn their living this way. Why not look for other available fair trade products, such as bananas, chocolate, honey, orange juice, pineapple, rice, sugar, and many others. Also, shop at your local farmer’s markets for locally grown produce, flowers and home made items.

Our Mission

We, the people of St. Patrick Parish, are a faith community sharing ministry and service. We are formed by the Word of God and empowered through prayer, Eucharist, and the other sacraments.
